Beaconsfield is a lovely old world market town within the South Bucks district in Buckinghamshire sitting in the Chiltern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. The town is part of the London commuter belt and as a result the average cost of property in the town is high. The town is very prosperous and is the home of the first model village in the world (Bekonscot model village). This picturesque town would be an ideal location to meet with one of our beautiful and enchanting Beaconsfield escorts. Our stunning escorts will be happy to visit you in the seclusion of your own home or hotel room and she will ensure that you will enjoy an evening to remember for some time to come. The land surrounding the town is mainly arable land although some beech forest does remain, these trees were originally planted to supply the furniture industry of High Wycombe. Beaconsfield was first referenced from 1185 and at that time was spelt Bekenesfeld. The parish church at the crossroad of Old Beaconsfield was rebuilt by the Victorians in 1869 and has always been dedicated to St Mary. Old Beaconsfield has a number of old coaching inns along a wide street of red brick houses and small shops and was the first coach stop point on the road between London and Oxford.
Traditionally an annual fair is held on 10th May and this was a charter dating back to 1269 which originally allowed for a yearly market for the trading of goods and livestock. Today this has developed into a funfair which is erected for one day only on the main road of the Old Town. Even though this fair has been going for over 735 years there are some residents who have called for it to be scrapped as they consider it a hindrance.
Beaconsfield was the home constituency of Benjamin Disraeli, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 1868 and who in fact became the 1st Earl of Beaconsfield in 1876.
More recently Beaconsfield has been used as a location for the TV murder mystery series “Midsomer Murders” and is close to Pinewood Studios so many other parts of the town have been used in a number of films.
