About Clacton-on-Sea
Clacton-on-Sea is a very popular seaside resort and is the largest town on the Tendring Peninsula, located in Essex. The amenities are very good and the town has a pleasure pier, golf course, plenty of arcades, an airfield and several popular caravan sites in and around the area. Clacton-on-Sea would be the perfect location to meet with one of our amazing Clacton-on-Sea escorts. Our escorts are nothing but the best as you will discover when you meet the lady of your choice. To entertain you and pleasure you, for as long as you wish, will be her goal and once she is gone you will only be able to think of your next encounter with one of our escorts.Although many seaside towns in England went into decline as holidays abroad became easily available, Clacton-on-Sea is now once again attracting many tourists but is more popular these days as a retirement area.
A Factory Shopping Village can be found in the northern part of the town and the main shopping area has many of the national chain stores well represented.
Entertainment in the area is plentiful and as well as the usual seaside resort attractions there are two theatres: the West Cliff Theatre and the Princes Theatre, vibrant bars and nightclubs, as well as many excellent quality restaurants. Clacton-on-Sea has an annual carnival which lasts for a whole week; it also holds an Air show annually where you will see such aircraft as Lancaster's, Spitfires, Harrier jets and the Red Arrows, both these events attract people from far and wide.
The Clacton-on-sea that we see today was originally founded by Peter Bruff in 1871, at that time anyone who wanted to access the resort by road had to go through Great Clacton. Later in the 1920's a London Road was built; this was to cope with the large number of holiday makers visiting the area and travelling through Colchester to reach their destination. In the 1970's an eastern section to the A120 was opened and this removed the need for Clacton tourists to go through Colchester.
Clacton-on-Sea has an Industrial area which is situated in the northeast of the town; this includes Gorse Lane Industrial Estate and Oakwood Business Park, both these are home to a variety of industrial units and businesses. These areas supply some of the towns employment opportunities; other employment is within the entertainment and food establishments. The town is served by Clacton-on-Sea railway station which is a 90 minute journey from Liverpool Street station and some of the town's residents do commute to London for their employment.
