About Caldecote
Hertfordshire, England has many small villages within its borders. Undoubtedly one of the smallest villages it hast is Caldecote. The Village of Caldecote is so small and cozy it only covers 325 acres of land (1.32 km), the equivalent of some large farms in the area. It also doubles as a civil parish. Caldecote is roughly 42 miles from the City of London, and a drive here should take around 1 hour and 6 minutes. One of the villages closest neighbors is the Village of Ashwell.
The residents of Caldecote make up a very small community. Their homes represent this fact. The entire village is simply a small grouping of Cottages, which surround the old village church. Today it is a redundant church, in that it no longer serves the community as a place of worship. Many redundant churches around the English country are usually demolished or converted into another more useful building. However, the residents here have decided not to demolish the historical Church of St. Mary Magdalene, because it is an important part of the village. It was built in the 14th and 15th centuries. Instead they have left the church in the care of a devout charity called the Friends of Friendless Churches; this group of individuals dedicates their lives to caring for redundant churches.
Excavations have found that the parish has had ties with the Roman Empire. These same excavations revealed the reason for the villages small size. The nine crofts found surrounding the church suggested that in 1428 there were only ten families residing here. Further investigations proved that the town was almost completely disseminated in 1349, as a result of the masses of deaths it sustained due to the black death; a plague which wiped out one third of Europes population. The village gradually began to grow, but has not yet recovered as there are only 17 inhabitants.
The small size of the village is what drives the residents to encourage outsiders to venture into their land. They prefer to see new faces and are quite hospitable when meeting new people. Visitors are welcomed with open arms and taken is as if they were families. Many travelers have recounted tales of the residents offering them a hot plate of food and a warm bed to stay in overnight. This kind of original hospitality drives the visitations of single and young people from all over the country.
Escorts are a few of the welcomed visitors. They are graced with beauty and an overwhelming sexiness that drives men wild.
