Mill Hill is situated in the London Borough of Barnet and is a suburb just 9 miles from Charing Cross, London. It has two distinct parts which are the old original centrally based Mill Hill Village and the now main hub of the area, Mill Hill Broadway.

Representation have been made to the Planning Inspectorate to reopen the railway line from Mill Hill East station to the west, also local protesters had a small victory when the report confirmed that a local closed road namely Sanders Lane, would not be reopened for traffic.
