The Forties Experience
You can visit this unique WW2 heritage site, where you can go back in time and experience the 1940's. Attractions include the 1940's House, Anderson Shelter, Dig for Victory Garden, Evacuee's School, the London Blitz Experience and the NAAFI cafe. The Centre was also the War-time Headquarters of the 8th U.S. Army Air Force base. The Forties Music Hall includes jive dancing and the “Lindy Hop!”.
