Broadgate is a large, 32-acre office and retail estate in the City of London and a favoured place to visit. The site is now owned by British Land and the Blackstone Group and managed by Broadgate Estates. The original developer of the site was Rosehaugh, with the construction elements provided by a Bovis / Tarmac joint venture. At the time of its original construction the area was the largest office development in London until the arrival of Canary Wharf in the early 1990s.
The modern spacious and mainly pedestrianised development is located on the original site of Broad Street station, within close proximity to the railway approaches into Liverpool Street station. A fantastic venue to arrange that special encounter with one of our delightful and pleasurable
London escorts, with a promise of ultimate enjoyment.
The boundaries of this managed estate are Bishopsgate in the east, Sun Street, Appold Street and the eastern part of Worship Street to the north, the southern part of Wilson Street to the west and Eldon Street and Liverpool Street to the south. Included in this estate are Broadgate Circle and Exchange Square. Boundary changes affected in 1994 place the entire estate within the City of London. Previously part of this estate was located in the London Borough of Hackney.
Completed in 2008 and classified as the 3rd-tallest building in the City after Tower 42 and the 30 St Mary Axe stands the impressive 538 foot Broadgate Tower. The building has added more than 820,000 sq ft of commercial floor space to the area. This building stands over the railway tracks which lead out of Liverpool Street station.
The majority of the site is now managed by Broadgate Estates who are also responsible for managing other major office and retail developments in London, and include Paternoster Square, home of the London Stock Exchange.
In addition to the areas fantastic array of facilities it has been announced that with effect from 5th August 2010 there is to be a Farmers Market which will be held twice monthly in the heart of Broadgate, another welcomed addition to the Heart of the capital.
